After the unison part, it ''grows'' back by doing one guitar/drum riff followed by one F flat. The guitar and keyboards play an ''e'' 4 times (plus that little guitar/riff at the end) and then it switches to an F flat I believe and that's played four times.then three ''e'' plus the riff, then three F flats and so on. He explains this experiment they do on the guitar/keyboard solo instrumental part on ''Fatal Tragedy'' The ''Shrink And Grow'' part starts on 4:40. Since most Dream Theater fans are crazy about Metropolis Part II. But there is a reason why I'm talking about it here. I purchased Mike Portnoy's ''Liquid Drum Theater'' and of course what can I say? he IS my biggest influence. Has anyone ever heard of the ''Shrink And Grow'' part on Fatal Tragedy?
